Casual Winter Outfit: Combat Boots & Teddy Bear Coat

I’ve been going a little crazy buying designer boots this last year, some of my favorites worn here: Louis Vuitton bootsChanel Button Boots, and Chanel Combat Boots.  However, most of the boots I’ve purchased are black. I’m in need of some tan/beige boots, especially with spring around the corner, although my friends may disagree with me. Prada has some stunning ones that sold out quickly in beige, but are still available in white; however, they are canvas/fabric. I can’t imagine spending $850 on light-colored canvas boots living in Wisconsin. The second I step out of the house they will be dirty. Chanel also has some gorgeous beige pairs, but I’m currently at my Chanel boot quota per my husband, so I decided to find some budget-friendly options.

Target, H&M, and Nordstrom all have great options, but I fell in love with this pair from Zara. I was so excited until I realized they are described as rubberized boots. I figured I’d give them a try anyway and ordered both a 6.5 (37) and 7.5 (38) as the site mentioned the boots ran big. Now that I have the boots I have to say they are stunning and exactly what I was looking for! They are somewhat rubberized but not like rain boots. Hard to explain! They are actually really comfortable and give off the coolest vibes. The site was right, they run a full size too big. The 6.5 fit me perfectly and I’m usually a 7.5. Overall, I’m super surprised with how comfortable and awesome these boots are, and for only $60 bucks. They are fantastic and similar to the Prada ones I was eyeing. Highly recommend!

My joggers are double-layered yoga pants from Amazon and are great replacements for Lululemon and Athleta pants for a quarter of the price. They can be worn so many ways: work out, lounge, casual and dressed up. I’m also wearing my favorite beanie of the season from Amazon. I wore it here and have it in several colors since it’s only $12. The material is great and the fit is perfect. Some beanies fit too “long” on my head and this one doesn’t come up strangely.
