The reason I still live in the Midwest? Coats and boots. Literally the only two reasons. Well, family too, but definitely the boots and coats! One of my favorite coats I own is a grey/silver reversible coat I purchased at Nordstrom a few years back, wearing here and here. It’s no longer available, but it made me love reversible coats. They are genius. One side is casual; another side is fancy! I still regret not getting it in black, so I’m on the hunt for other reversible jackets every season. This year, I came across this gorgeous bomber jacket from Tommy. I wasn’t sure about sizing. Based on the site, it recommended I order a 6, which seemed off as I’m usually a 2 or 4. I grabbed both a 4 and a 6. When the jacket came, I thought the 4 fit a little large, but I wanted to leave room for sweaters, so I ended up keeping it. Now after styling it with a few different looks, I’m obsessed. This shearling coat is such a great value with the current clearance price! When I ordered it, all sizes were available, but now it has sold out a few times. Keep an eye on the site as new sizes appear regularly. This is such a staple coat. The best part is that it can be worn two different ways, a teddy bear coat or a bomber jacket. Both sides are equally fabulous. I’ve worn it several days in a row, and it’s super warm! I’ve linked a few other reversible coat options I love, including some faux options!
A quick note on my jeans, they are the perfect cropped jeans. Most jeans end up being too long on me as I’m 5’3. I hate when the ankle bunches up with boots, but these don’t, and they sit just right on the hips. I have them in a light black as well as this denim shade. If you are looking for some new jeans, this cropped style is excellent!
