As much as I love winter whites (wearing here and here), as a mom of a toddler sometimes it’s better to just throw on a chic black outfit. It looks put together, but really easy to match. My go-to winter outfit is grabbing a pair of black leggings and a black sweater. It’s always fun to throw a neutral or even an accessory for a pop of color. Lately, I’ve been grabbing this sweater nonstop since it’s amazing quality, warm and flattering. The best part is that it’s under $35! I’m also wearing it here.

Also, my coat was purchased last year, but it periodically sells out and comes back in stock! I’ve seen it as low as $40 bucks this year. It runs large, I purchased a petite XS and it’s still roomy on me. The length is perfect and it’s surprisingly warm. If you don’t have a teddy bear coat in your collection I highly recommend one!
