I’ve been a little quiet on the blog recently, as I’ve been trying to juggle family life, working full time and friends. I don’t know how people do it with multiple kids!
This weekend I popped out of the house for Sunday brunch. The weather was perfect! 60s and sunny. I love sweater and boot weather, which is why fall is my favorite season.
While I love splurging on staple pieces, I can be a bit frugal with clothing. As most of you know, Amazon is one of my favorite places to shop for basics. When I saw this caramel sweater on my friend at work, I thought it was for sure an expensive splurge, so I was surprised when she said she got it on Amazon and for under $25! Of course, I hopped on and purchased one in several colors.

How perfect is the color for fall weather? You can pair this sweater with jeans, leggings, skirts, boots, booties…you name it.
I opted for a casual look with jeans and over the knee boots. I couldn’t wait to dust these bad boys off. I feel like Stuart Weitzman started the OTK trend a few years ago, and the “Hitest” is one of their first pairs. What I love about these is that the heel is smaller than typical OTK boots. They are super comfortable!
What’s interesting is that the sweater is a “one size fits all,” which usually means it doesn’t fit anyone, but it worked perfectly for me! My friend is a good 5 inches taller than me, and it worked perfectly for her as well.
